Creating Art from a Photograph

A photograph is limited by what is in front of the lens. A painting is limited only by the imagination. Sometimes a photograph has a special meaning or a loved one has a certain expression that touches you; however, the background is not attractive or appropriate. I can create a painting that will stand on its own as a work of art – you just happen to know the people in it!
